What does a typical steel frame package include?

For a residential extension or a medium-scale commercial build, we deliver a full set of fabrication drawings, connection details, and a bolt schedule. You get the 3D model in IFC or DWG, plus a clear sequence for on-site assembly. We don't send just a sketch — you receive everything needed for pricing and erection.

How do you handle coordination with the architect?

We start from the architectural sketch and work out the structural grid in parallel. For ventilated facades, we align the steel profiles with the cladding module and window openings. We share a coordination model early, so clashes are caught before fabrication, not on site.

What level of detail do you provide for construction?

Every project includes section details at 1:5 and 1:10, showing the interface between steel, insulation, and cladding. We specify the bolt grades, base plate sizes, and weld symbols. For the ventilated facade, we detail the drainage plane and the thermal break — so the builder knows exactly what goes where.

Can you work with our existing structural engineer?

Yes. We often collaborate with local engineers who review our calculations and stamp the drawings. We provide the full calculation report for the steel profiles and connections, so your engineer can verify and approve without redoing the work. For a medium-scale project, expect 3 to 5 weeks from the initial brief to the final fabrication set. The first week is dedicated to the parametric sketch and profile sizing. After that, we refine the model and produce the detailed drawings. If you need a faster turnaround for a tender, we can prioritise the key sections.

Do you provide on-site support during assembly?

We offer remote support for every project, and we can visit the site for critical milestones — like the first frame erection or the facade bracket alignment. This is arranged separately from the design fee. Many clients find that a single site visit helps the crew understand the connection details better.
